Summary:
Responsibilities Include:

Ensure the safety and integrity of operations on all shifts and oversee day-to-day plant production results

Manage maintenance of environmental health and safety activities, certifications, compliance, incident investigation, and specialized programs.

Assist operators with problem resolution and maintenance functions.
-
Support operators in quality matters, including yields and off-spec issue identification.
-
Administer the collective bargaining agreement for hourly employees and handle grievance administration, arbitrations, disciplinary activities, and contract negotiations.
-
Act as a liaison between operators and technical resources.
-
Lead Maintenance Supervisors to drive craft efficiency and accountability.
-
Execute daily repair and replacement work for cost-effective plant operational integrity
-
Serve as Fire Chief or Assistant Fire Chief, trained in fire safety techniques, and lead the site's Fire Brigade in emergency response.
Qualifications:
The following are required for the role

5+ years of manufacturing experience
-
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

Strong personal orientation towards the safety of self and others
-
Uses effective troubleshooting skills
-
Clear and patient communicator who can lead calmly and confidently during upset conditions
-
Willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift.
The following are preferred for this role

Engineering or safety degree preferred.

A strong lean manufacturing orientation

Working knowledge of SAP
-
Knowledge of chemistry and chemical manufacturing

What We Offer:
Base Pay Range: $82,500.00 - $120,450.00
The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
