The Production Assistant II will be involved in the daily production of critical, time-sensitive mail pieces with a focused emphasis on the timely execution of contractual agreements with our clients. The position will include both machine operation of digital printing and mailing equipment, as well as manual processes as part of the daily requirements of production.
Essential Functions

Ability to repair minor issues with production printers

Prepares and verifies all necessary documentation for daily mailings

Monitors and executes Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)

Monitors supplies and notifies Site Manager when supply is low
-
Adheres to all departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

Keeps all work areas clean and presentable
-
Machine Operator experience operating Bell and Howell, CMC Kirk Rudy machinery or similar insert and onserting equipment
-
Other duties as assigned
Education
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
-
Experience in print or mail production environment required
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Prints, inserts, onserts, with 100% Quality Assurance, and shipping of direct mail packages

Scans and releases mailbooks

Prepares and verifies all necessary documentation for daily mailings

Monitors and executes Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)

Occasionally drives mail to Pitney Bowes or USPS if SLA’s are at risk

Monitors supplies and notifies Site Manager when supply is low

Adheres to all departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)

Keeps all work areas clean and presentable

Regular and predictable onsite attendance is required

Working Conditions
Work is performed in climate controlled indoor administrative office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, depending upon office or meeting location.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. The employee frequently is required to remain stationary. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 25 pounds. Vision: Close and distance required with ability to see objects in presence of glare or bright lighting (e.g., computer screen). Speech/Hearing: Frequently interact with management, vendors, coworkers, industry constituents, clients and the public.

Pay Range: $16.54 to $20.67
