Duties

  • Serves in the role of a project manager with an emphasis on the demolition, renovation, and construction of facilities or campus civil and utilities infrastructure.
  • Provides general oversight of design contract compliance to include developing design Statements of Work, government estimates, and implementation of all state, federal, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Reviews plans, specifications, cost estimates, and construction submittals for technical adequacy. Coordinates with customers to analyze and develop facility requirements, design criteria, and cost estimates.
  • Monitors contractor progress with established schedules, allotted resources, and delivery of final products/services to ensure conformance with plans and specifications.
  • Plans and accomplishes complex project management duties by participating in decision making, analyzing requirements and design criteria, and developing cost estimates.
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for the creation, upkeep, and maintenance of all the schedules related to large scale demolition, renovation, and construction projects.
