OVERSEE, ADVISE, ADMINISTER, SUPERVISE OR PERFORM

Duties

• Oversee, advise, administer, supervise or perform work that drives business processes, implement integration efforts, or execute change management efforts to meet organizational priorities.
• Ensure goals, and objectives are aligned to the NASA and Spaceport strategic vision and are communicated through means including the Business Objective Agreements, a strategic plan and related initiatives, and engagement activities.
• Oversee, lead, and conduct special studies for NASA Programs/Projects and its partners.
• Perform technical activities supporting the management process whether within the context of a line organization, direction of a contracted effort, or management of grants. Work may involve monitoring contractors supporting NASA projects.
• Identify, present, and promote management strategies that aim to improve employee and team performance and engagement. Manage staffing levels, develop succession plans and actively participate in employee development.
• Enable efforts to accomplish organizational objectives by developing and implementing solutions and new approaches to improve productivity, mission results, operational efficiency, and/or generate savings of time or money.
• Perform a full range of supervisory duties which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.
