Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s TBMNC Plant Quality Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Quality Leader.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead, develop, and execute work plans for the test/analysis team ensuring products produced meet/exceed the set specifications.
Reporting to the Quality Manager the person in this role will support the quality control department's objective to support the manufacturing team in producing the highest quality product to exceed our customer’s expectations.
What you’ll be doing
- Support/Set strategic direction to ensure our in-house process meet all design/process control specifications to ensure TBMNC’s product exceeds our customer’s expectations.
- Support the creation and execution of quality hoshin to support the achievement of company KPI.
- Support creation and execution for world-class training, and quality TM experience/environment to attract and retain top-quality talent.
- Lead/support true root cause/countermeasure implementation to eliminate defect recurrence.
- Collaborate closely with other groups to promote a strong kaizen culture to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Support/lead creation, standardization, execution, and sustainment of quality management systems (ISO/IATF, 3 Pillar, etc.)
What you bring
- Quality control/engineering/maintenance management experience.
- Quality control experience.
- Ability to coach and develop team members in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication & visualization skills.
- Ability to create and execute strategic direction.
- Experience as Project Lead for major model changes or new model launches.
- Hoshin creation and execution.
- Technical problem-solving ability (PDCA, RC/CM, TBP).
- Experience leading and meeting goals of 4S, Standardized Work, and team ownership systems.
Added bonus if you have
- Battery Manufacturing experience.
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in a technical field.
- 3 Pillar Assessor Certification.
- Cross-functional work experience (Quality, manufacturing, engineering, maintenance).
- Cross-functional collaboration (UTC, SOAR, etc.)
- 3 Pillar management/execution experience.
- NAMQSR or ISO deployment, execution, or sustainment experience.
