Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Greensboro, North Carolina Battery Plant Manufacturing Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Production Planning Senior Analyst.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the production planning both short & mid-term for TBMNC.
Reporting to the Production Planning Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Control department's objective to ensure the integrity of TBMNC’s supply chain at all times and under all conditions.
What you’ll be doing
- Planning and coordination of all production plans including the 3-year, Annual, and Monthly plans. (3-year and annual plans follow multiple cycles throughout the year)
- Understand Getsudo (Monthly Allocation for volumes and options) for TBMNC. Analyze and coordinate between executives, other PC areas and manufacturing to clarify and rectify any issues that may affect production, such as production restrictions, etc.
- Support executive understanding of plan, options available to the plan, and execute feedback direction to the plant
- Monitor and track all Volumes/ Guides are accurate and being met daily. Adjust and coordinate new recovery plans as needed in response to manufacturing issues that affect the original plan
- Understand all new model and ECI change-points and understand shop restrictions by change-point and reflect in the planning considerations
- Develop strategies to ensure Sales demands can be met.
- This role requires an ability to multi-task with many areas with conflicting deadlines and priorities
- This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and work with a number of individuals and entities at any given time

- Hoshin execution
- Technical problem-solving ability (PDCA, RC/CM, TBP)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using KPIs for goal setting and process management

- Problem solving complete through panel (TBP)
- Battery Manufacturing experience
- 3 Pillar management / execution experience
- Understanding Toyota planning process, specifications, and timelines
