The mission of the Part-Time Hotel Housekeeper, Guest Room Attendant or Room Attendant is to provide an exceptional experience to every guest who stays with us. The cleaning duties of the Part-Time Hotel Housekeeper, Room Attendant or Guest Room Attendant include making beds, vacuuming and mopping, restocking toiletries, washing and ironing sheets, and other general tasks. Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Part-Time Housekeeper, Room Attendant or Guest Room Attendant include:
- Clean and arrange hotel rooms following our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival
- Maintain common spaces, including the hotel lobby, corridors, and public restrooms
- Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed
- Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items, and any damage or repairs needed
- Answer general questions from guests
Requirements for the Part-Time Hotel Housekeeper, Room Attendant or Guest Room Attendant include:
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- At least one year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
