Anticipate Hours 6:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon - Breakfast Service
Our busy hotel restaurant is looking for hotel restaurant servers with friendly smiles and a cheerful customer service attitude to set the tone for our guests to enjoy their dining experience with us. The hotel restaurant server will serve our restaurant guests by ensuring they are seated promptly, their orders are taken, prepared, and served timely, and tables are cleaned and ready for the next guests. The ideal Hotel Restaurant Breakfast Server candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor toward our guests and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. Some Key Areas of Responsibility for the Hotel Restaurant Breakfast Server include:
- Welcome customers upon arrival and promptly seat them, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve meals, and meet any special requirements or request
- Establish a complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to respond to client inquiries and make recommendations
- Accept correct payment from guests and guarantee the accuracy of the guest check and manner of payment to protect both the client and the business from any transaction mistakes
- Participate in pre-shift and department meetings to gain a thorough grasp of all products, services, and facility activities
- Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
Requirements for Hotel Restaurant Breakfast Server include:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred
- Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
