- Support, evaluate, and implement a strategic plan aimed at driving growth in Amazon and third-party sales, with a strong emphasis on maximizing profitability.
- Develop high levels of expertise in Amazon and third-party platforms to bolster visibility and support for Walker Edison products. Implement best practices to enhance product visibility and foster customer engagement.
- Take ownership of uploading promotional funding data into the internal ERP system on a per-item basis. Ensure accurate submission of promotional plans to cross-functional partners, such as finance, to facilitate seamless coordination and financial tracking. This role plays a critical part in maintaining transparency and accountability in our promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize promotional plans tailored to specific product categories, ensuring representation of all subcategories. Assess inventory availability when selecting products for promotions and cultivate internal relationships to devise and execute programs aimed at expanding market share and boosting sales revenue.
- Optimize product relevance and listing quality to increase organic customer traffic for all Walker Edison products, leveraging the partnership with Amazon.
- Maintain credibility and trust through regular Amazon Posts, recognizing the importance of building ongoing relationships with Amazon customers. By consistently engaging with customers through informative and relevant Amazon Posts, we aim to establish ourselves as a trusted authority within our product categories. This ongoing communication not only enhances our brand reputation but also fosters customer loyalty and satisfaction, ultimately driving repeat purchases and positive reviews.
- Become a resource and advocate for Amazon to grow our overall business by spearheading key operational initiatives that focus on excellence with cross-functional and external partners.
- Help prepare and deliver sales presentations, product reviews, and pitch decks.
- Participate in customer meetings and key account calls.
Functional/Technical Competencies:
- Demonstrable experience of meeting and exceeding goals and objectives.
- Thorough understanding of POS data systems.
- Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of e-commerce and big-box selling environments.
- Communicating consistently and efficiently with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Finance, Product Development, Customer Service and Quality.
- Strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional sales experience.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong analytical skills in Microsoft Excel, PPT, etc., and reporting platforms.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
