Graphic Designer

Walker Edison is looking for a full-time graphic designer to join our growing marketing team. We are a tight-knit group, reliant on positive attitudes and the ability to work collaboratively. The graphic designer is responsible for upholding our brand guidelines through the creation of design/production files and marketing materials for our ready-to-assemble furniture products. This job will be designing all aspects of content creation, corporate graphic needs, enhanced content for partner sites, and media advertising content. They must also be comfortable with balancing many projects and meeting deadlines efficiently. We are looking for organized, hardworking, and problem-solving people who aren’t afraid to take ownership of their projects. This role requires the ability to find creative solutions to help our products stand out across many platforms.
This is how you can contribute to our success:
- Designs and builds creative concepts that follow creative briefs and brand guidelines.
- Creates visually compelling assets for emails, social media, walkeredison.com, and other digital needs.
- Content and design updates on the Shopify website.
- Design enhanced content for partner sites (Amazon A+) .
- Create and manage our marketing materials, including eye-catching and innovative banners for our website and email blasts, as well as ads for social media (Facebook, Google, and Instagram).
- Ensures all creative is consistent, innovative, accurate, and meets all marketing requirements.
- Strong understanding of web standard practices and user interface designs a plus.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of graphic design experience
- Experience with Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Experience designing on Shopify
- Extensive experience with vector artwork
- UI/UX design experience
- Must have a digital portfolio that demonstrates creative execution of recent work.
