- Advance, assess, and execute a winning strategy that is highly focused on maintaining and growing sales dollars and profit.
- Build high levels of customer knowledge and grow support for all Walker Edison products by building a deep understanding of specified accounts, developing relationships throughout their organization, and collaborating with key team members to develop and manage programs that increase our market share and sales revenue across all category platforms.
- Become a resource and advocate for key accounts to grow our relationship and overall business by spearheading key initiatives with cross-functional and external partners.
- Provide analysis of the efficient and effective use of all advertising, promotional, and marketing program budgets by reviewing and providing recommendations that are in the best interests of the company and planning detailed program and promotional plans with all customers.
- Help prepare and deliver customer-specific sales presentations, product reviews and pitch decks.
- Support internal tracking and reporting systems weekly to maintain accuracy in ad spend, sales and volume metrics.
- Responsible for uploading monthly promotional plans with key customers and ensuring plans are submitted to cross-functional partners, like finance.
- Participate in customer meetings and key account calls.
Functional/Technical Competencies:
- Demonstrable experience of meeting and exceeding goals and objectives.
- Thorough understanding of POS data systems.
- Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of e-commerce and big-box selling environments.
- Communicating consistently and efficiently with cross-functional teams including Sales, Operations, Finance, Product Development, Customer Service and Quality.
- Strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional sales experience.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong analytical skills in Microsoft Excel, PPT, etc., and reporting platforms.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
