Job Summary
The Business Development Associate plays a critical role in the sales process by helping the firm acquire and retain assets under management by meeting the information needs of prospects and clients in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in completing and reviewing requests for proposals (RFP’s), due diligence questionnaires, and data requests from clients and prospects.
- Manages a pipeline of quarterly/monthly reoccurring request from clients.
- Reviews and updates the product and firm profiles on consultant databases.
- Develops a strong understanding of Thornburg’s asset management product offerings, as well as an understanding of our sales and client service processes.

- Bachelor’s degree - required. (Degree in Finance, Marketing, or Economics - preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
