- Provide critical support in the acquisition, management, and distribution of structured data to maximize the values from the data sources to the overall enterprise.
- Work with management to identify and implement opportunities to improve operational business processes, reduce costs, mitigate risks, and improve data quality.
- Review, monitor, and assess current operational data needs, and seek opportunities to expand the use of the centralized data platform to all Thornburg’s businesses.
- Develop tools and processes used to maintain a common, firm-wide data standard.
- Participate and contribute to the creation and review of Service Level Agreements, including the ongoing development and report management of metrics on these services including but not limited to:
- Performing daily data operations support and processing.
- Participation in data governance.
- Documenting operational procedures and data requirements.
- Supporting and aligning data delivery.
- Using data governance to determine the best possible solution for the organization and, when necessary, act as the interface between IT, EDS, Project Managers and other business units to create operational efficiencies, projects and process specifications.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar field; or 4 years of directly related experience in lieu of degree - required.
- Knowledge of financial services industry - required.
- Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with database and data governance principles.
- Knowledge of Markit, Clearwater, Salesforce, Salesconnect, Power BI - preferred.
- TSQL, SQL Server Reporting Services skills - preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
- Ability work at a computer for extended periods of time.
