Family Office Manager
Description
The Family Office Manager will manage financial, legal, insurance, tax, household, philanthropic and other issues for the Thornburg Family and related entities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage Family Office Executive Assistant/Bookkeeper; Assist and supervise preparation of financial statements, investment analysis reports, bank reconciliations, cash flow analysis reports and other financial reports.
- Coordinate family member meetings, travel, and other family affairs.
- Ensure all individual, trust, non-profit, and other entity financial transactions and accounting duties are completed on a timely and accurate basis.
- Manage third party relationships to facilitate tax preparation and planning, including estimate tax calculations and payments.
- Manage third party relationships to facilitate investment, philanthropic and estate planning services
- Manage payment of private investment capital calls and preparation of subscription documents for new private investments
- Supervise management and accounting of domestic and foreign real properties.
* This role's work location is fully on-site. This individual will be required to work in the office on a daily basis to fulfil duties.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree – required.
- Prior experience working in a CPA firm or family office - required.
- 7-10 years of directly related experience; Prior office management and accounting experience.
- Knowledge of investment portfolios and analysis.
- Fluency with accounting software, Microsoft 365 and other programs.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines and respond to rapidly changing demand.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and anticipate needs.
- Must be flexible, able to work efficiently, independently, and proactively.
- Able to perform detailed independent analysis and articulate results.
