SERVE AS CENTER\U2019S IH PROGRAM MANAGER AND SUBJ

Duties

• Serve as center’s IH Program Manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all matters regarding Industrial Hygiene.
• Formulate IH health hazard evaluations (in response to center safety reviews and project consultations) on all center operations to include institutional, science and construction projects; reporting the needed mitigation to ensure safe operations.
• Develop, plan, and implement comprehensive IH sampling/assessment design and perform health hazard sampling, surveys, and exposure assessments as required by the NASA set Environmental Health (EH) policies.
• Manage, implement, and audit the center’s 20+ IH related programs by complying to NASA’s Occupational Health policies.
• Draft and manage IH center directives and policies, reports, records, instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Provide branch management and center leadership with required scheduled metrics regarding the status of the IH programs.
• Develop and deliver IH training to workforce in-person and/or online.
• Develop effective working partnerships with other support/customer services, aircraft operations, and engineering organizations (e.g., Safety, Environmental, Medical, Facilities and Science and Aircraft engineering).
