MANAGES TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH DEVELOPMENTS INCLUDING

Duties

• Manages technology research developments including tracking and reviewing the technical, schedule, and financial progress of individual grant awards, along with tracking the technology readiness level assessments.
• Reviews progress reports submitted by the principal investigators and conducts annual site visits at the technology development venues.
• Leads and organizes technology working groups to define and prioritize technology needs for the development of Earth Science Instruments and activities for Earth Science missions.
• Organizes and leads multi-Center and external system analysis and trade studies to support investment strategies and delineate projects with emerging technologies.
• Participates in the development of new technology planning thrusts, studies and outreach activities.
• Fosters a culture of engagement, diversity, inclusiveness, excellence and innovation. Champions NASA's commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility to create an environment that promotes a commitment to safety, integrity and teamwork.
