About Your Role
The Immigration Associate will join Bridgewater’s HR Operations pillar as an independent, individual contributor providing end to end immigration support for our foreign national employees in partnership with our external legal counsel. This role demands a highly detail-oriented candidate with excellent customer service skills and care. The Immigration Associate role offers a unique opportunity to help Bridgewater run a world class Human Resources department by supporting our foreign national talent.
You will drive the following responsibilities:
- Manage foreign national immigration cases (ex. Obtaining work visas, navigating the green card process, providing guidance for internal travel and visa appointments)
- Execute the end-to-end process of the employee’s case
- Demonstrate care for employees and address questions they have
- Partner with our external legal counsel on immigration case strategy
- Ensure Bridgewater maintains compliance with relevant immigration regulations
- Collaborate with managers to implement transformation initiatives and projects within the Employee Relations space
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years professional experience in Human Resources
- Preference for paralegal and/or immigration case experience
- Highly organized, detail oriented and reliable – must be able to run multiple processes meticulously with minimal errors
- High level of empathy and care for customers
- Track record handling confidential issues with sensitivity and maturity
- Familiarity with Microsoft operating systems and/or tools (MS Office 365, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Physical Requirements
This role is offered with full remote work flexibility and can be performed anywhere in the United States. This approach is role specific and each team will have some slight variations that we will be able to describe in more detail throughout the recruiting process.
Compensation
The wage range for this role is $105,000 - $160,000 inclusive of base salary and discretionary bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80% - 90% of this wage range.
