About the Research Agenda Management Team
The Research Agenda Management team lies within the center of Analytics, reporting into the Investment Engine Department Heads, and is a team responsible for managing our investment priorities with the CIOs, Investment Committee, and Asset Class Teams. This team is responsible for managing research holistically: setting priorities, strategically managing our research projects and pipeline, and managing the day-to-day coordination and touchpoints across the CIOs, IC, and teams. The management coordinator role is at the center of that, focused on managing complex calendars and partnering with many stakeholders across the organization to ensure research is achieving its goals and we are making progress across the organization.
About Your Role
As the Research Analytics Management Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the team’s processes and ensuring the team is hitting its strategic goals. To do this well, you will partner with the team’s Program Manager as the ‘air traffic controller’ of the team. You will be responsible for a variety of administrative, operational and project management activities. You will help set goals, brainstorm execution, project manage multiple initiatives, and coordinate directly with the team and internal stakeholders ranging from administrative assistants to senior leaders. You will be the first point of contact for coordination requests, vetting them, and filtering them against fluctuating priorities to manage and achieve time sensitive goals.
Without the Management Coordinator position, the team doesn’t run. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and great at time management. You must communicate professionally, enjoy problem solving, and thrive in a dynamic, relationship-driven environment.
You will drive the following responsibilities:
- Design and run the research agenda operating model
- Understand the goals and priorities of the research department and partner with Investment Committee members, Senior Investors, and support teams across the department on how to visualize achieving both near term and long term goals
- Synthesize and set the weekly and monthly priorities for the research agenda team
- Manage the research calendar holistically and become the central point person of the research workflow, inclusive of landing key meetings, managing agenda, meeting locations, general operations, etc.
- Collect and maintain project updates from all teams weekly and use them to set the goals for the following week
- Run central documentation system that enables us to keep meticulous records of key project milestones, meetings and decisions

- Possess excellent organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities/tasks/priorities with minimal error
- Can navigate and deal with many complex competing priorities across calendars and scheduling, knowing when to escalate for help or make tradeoffs as needed based on priorities
- Have strong stakeholder management, able to work with many different stakeholders and roles across the org and ultimately communicate well, clearly, always in a timely manner
- Can deal with a fast-paced environment and stay on top of it, keeping the team organized and aware of what’s happening as needed
- Have strong attention to detail and both verbal and written communication skills
- Are willing to stay connected, with the expectation of occasional work being done outside of standard business hours based the demands of the business
Minimum Qualifications
- 4-year degree from an accredited undergraduate institution
- Effective written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities/tasks/priorities with minimal error
- Ability to anticipate and independently avoid or solve problems
- Agility; capable of adapting to unexpected changes and rapidly evolving situations
- Willingness to stay connected, with the expectation of occasional work being done, outside of standard business hours
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Physical Requirements
For most of our roles, Bridgewater offers remote work flexibility, with most employees required to work on campus as their principal work location, a minimum of two days (and in some cases three days) per week with the option to work offsite on other days.
Compensation Band:
The wage range for this role is $110,000 - $175,000 inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus. The expected base salary for this role is between 80 - 90% of this wage range.
