WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are you a freelance Video/Media Producer with a passion for strategy, concepts and attendee driven narratives?
If so, then Opus Agency wants to hear from you! Opus Agency is expanding its freelance pool to accommodate future projects and we want YOU to be a part of it.
We’re searching for contract Video/Media Producers to manage and own the production of video and media elements that may be part of a larger event, a broadcast, virtual event or stand alone project. As a contract Video/Media Producer, you will be responsible for budgeting, schedules, team and crew management, client relations, vendor and venue management, pre and post production and the day-to-day management of an assigned project(s).
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- 5+ years of experience managing media and video projects
- Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive, AirTable, Quip, WorkDocs program experience
- Ability to work independently, in a team, and as a report to a project lead
- Successfully perform in a high stress, fast-paced environment
- Accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Thrive on collaboration with team members
- Work independently and interdependently
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create detailed client budget
- Manage the approved budget, tracking all related financials to project
- Set timelines and associated milestones for projects, integrating with the larger project team as needed
- Drive process and timeline with internal and client teams for client presentations, ideation, reviews, and approvals
- Establish good relationships with vendors and manage them to ensure elements are on time, within budget and meeting requested specifications
- Identify solutions and leverage technologies that will support the desired creative and messaging needs
- Support internal and external planning meetings - take notes, set agendas and communicate action items
- Utilize creative problem solving all along the planning cycle, consistently looking for ways to deliver more effectively
- Track project and notify client and team of any scope and budget changes
- Hire talent, negotiate contracts and schedule essential staff and crew, such as makeup artists, camera operators, grips, editors, sound people and graphic artists/media designers
- Potentially directs on-screen talent
- Work with script writer/content developer
- Talent procurement and contracting
- Location scouting, permitting, location contracts, location maps
- Shoot organization including venue, equipment, catering
- Procure video shoot crew and equipment
- Set up and oversee entire post-production process including editing, motion graphics, audio design, music placement and licensing,
- Client asset tracking and management
- Manage legal reviews as necessary
- Support budget reconciliation
- Project wrap and archive media content
