WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Are you a freelance Executive Producer with a passion for leading cross-discipline teams, strategy, problem solving and budgets? If so, Opus Agency wants to hear from you!
Opus Agency is expanding its freelance pool to accommodate future projects and we want YOU to be a part of it.
We are seeking freelance Executive Producers to manage individual live events, expos and activations from concept through onsite execution. This leadership role is highly client-facing as the Opus voice of production for the project and the team. Primary responsibilities are to oversee project teams, collaborate with creative leads to develop concepts for engaging experiences, coordinate with technical staff and vendors on all facets of production including staging, scenic design, lighting design, broadcast and audio-visual components. Must have an extensive background in event production that includes developing and managing budgets, project timelines, show flows and production plans. Must also have a deep understanding of producing creative, media and digital components.
YOU SHOULD HAVE
- 10+ years of client-facing Executive Producer experience
- Strong project management skills
- Outstanding and clear written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience managing multi-faceted, complex budgets
- Extensive supervisory and management experience
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Proficiency in Apple, Google and Microsoft applications
- Successfully perform in a high stress, fast-paced environment
- Accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Thrive on collaboration with team members
- Work independently and interdependently
ESSENTIALS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide production strategy and guidance to clients and project teams
- Be the point of contact for clients regarding all production elements, timelines, etc.
- Develop and manage project budgets, change orders and final reconciliation.
- Manage vendor negotiations and payments
- Manage and lead project team throughout all phases of production
- Lead and foster a collaborative team environment to assure all deliverables are met
- Create and manage all show documentation
- Ensure flawless execution onsite
