As a Sales Director, you will contribute to Cognite’s growth by winning new business with Oil & Gas accounts in Europe and South East Asia. You will help customers achieve improved business results through their adoption of Cognite Applications and the Cognite Data Fusion Platform to improve customers’ operational results.
Role & responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory strategy to drive bookings growth and win new customers
- Foster sales culture, collaboration and ownership in the team achieving set targets
- Orchestration of campaigns, targets, account lists, account and opportunity management, and internal collaboration (pre-sales, marketing, delivery, partner, deal desk and other key functions)
- Develop the team in complex sales cycle management, value selling processes, working with the partner ecosystem
- Commercial forecasting & planning
- Hire and manage
Who You Are
- 7+ years of Sales & Customer Acquisition experience in complex, multi-stakeholder organizations, within Oil & Gas
- Track of record with sales team leadership in value selling, leveraging MEDDPICC, Command of The Message or equivalent sales methodologies
- Developing direct relationships with key stakeholders in Digital, IT, Business etc, including C-suite relationships in assigned priority accounts
- Experience selling SaaS solutions, preferably in AI / ML and OT
- Savvy at helping customers create business cases with quantified ROI to justify new investments
- Experience of selling together with partners
- Team coach player, working with extended teams and developing people
