About the Role
You will be responsible for Release Management and drive lean release management process to achieve zero downtime releases and seamless customer experience
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams to create comprehensive release plans including features, timelines, testing needs, documentation, and other details
- Managing release to production including risk management, including focus on performance and security
- Streamlining and managing release processes, checklists, and schedules from build to deployment focused on zero downtime releases and automated lean process
- Tracking progress of release milestones and flag any issues or risks to ensure on-time delivery
- Managing software configuration and changes throughout the release process, including feature flags, database migrations, planning the choreography of service rollout, etc.
- Performing quality assurance checks and manage test scope at various stages of the release cycle
Requirements
- Demonstrate extensive experience with Software Development/ DevOps
- Demonstrate hands-on experience in zero downtime release management and CI/CD processes
- Experience using release management, bug tracking, and automation tools
- Experience in automating release and deployment process
- - Experience in driving zero-downtime release and deployment processes
- Demonstrate knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
