Technology Process Optimization Specialist, LexisNexis Reed Technology (LNRT)
This is an exciting opportunity to have a global impact on Information Security for LexisNexis Reed Technology to enhance our Culture of Security. We are seeking a highly motivated Technology Process Optimization Specialist to assist Information Security in streamlining our processes and technologies to increase operating effectiveness, lower costs, reduce redundancy and lower security risks.
We are searching for an individual who is able to collaborate across the organization to plan, develop and execute on long-range performance improvement projects. This person must have the ability to actively listen to stakeholders regarding current challenges, identify optimization opportunities and effectively present findings and conclusions to stakeholders.
Accountabilities
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for process optimization
- Collaborate with business and technology teams and stakeholders to understand current systems and processes
- Develop process maps, flowcharts and other documentation to clearly communicate current and improved processes
- Evaluate process maps, flowcharts and other documentation to identify areas for improvement to propose and present to teams and stakeholders
- Design and implement approved new technology systems and processes
- Train and support technology teams and stakeholders on new systems and processes
- Accurately measure the effectiveness of the process optimization initiatives and modify, as necessary
- Effectively identify organizational standards and implement as part of the process optimization procedures as applicable
- Stay current with technology trends and developments to ensure up-to-date processes and systems
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years relevant process analyst experience
- Foundational understanding of information security principals, best practices and frameworks, such as ISO27k and NIST, preferred
- Experience with process optimization for a large scale project
- Change management principles, methodologies and tools such as Lean Business, Six Sigma or equivalent preferred
- Organizational development concepts, practices and procedures
- Ability to converse and collaborate with business and technology teams and stakeholders to present process optimization findings
- Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, customer service and presentation skills
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize work effectively, to ensure that security measures are incorporated into strategic departmental plans that support the company’s information security goals and objectives
