We have an opportunity for a KBI Account Manager to join our Plainfield, IL team. You will act as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial accounts, delivering service and products to ensure an exceptional customer relationship. Your leaderships skills and ability to maintain excellent relationships with external and internal stakeholders will be the keys to your success as an Account Manager.
You will:
- Be responsible for creating strategies for the sales team to drive revenue growth in assigned categories.
- Lead the execution of annual/quarterly/monthly sales targets and forecasts to meet revenue and profit commitments.
- Use in-depth knowledge of products and services and identify industry and category trends to drive sales.
- Ensure business growth by building relationships with new customers based on mutual trust and respect.
- Develop/build relationships with internal stakeholders to meet customer expectations and sales initiatives.
- Work with finance team to ensure proper pricing of products and services and ensure work remains within budgets.
- Maintain the customer relationship with open communication to fully understand customer need.
- Act as liaison between branch offices and account to ensure seamless customer experience.
Key Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business Admin or related field, preferred.
- 5+ years of functional experience in industry
- 2+ or more years of managerial experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven record of utilizing metrics to maximize business opportunities.
- Ability to pivot and prioritize as needed to meet customer expectations.
- Ability to travel 50%
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent service and relationship-building skills.
- Enhanced knowledge and comfort level Microsoft Office and G-Suite
