Facilities Technician
Operations Center - Lynden, WA
Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, evening and weekend work may be required as needed.
40 hours per week
A Day in Your Life at Peoples Bank:
As a Facilities Technician, you will be primarily responsible for the maintenance of our bank facilities, properties and equipment as well as support the other Facilities Department functions. In addition, you will assist with building projects as needed.
Your Primary Responsibilities Would Include:
- Performing maintenance for the bank facilities, grounds, and coordinating with subcontractors as needed.
- Performing maintenance and repairs on bank equipment, as needed.
- Assisting with relocating furniture, equipment, files and other desk contents and reconfiguring workspaces.
- Installing standing desks and other ergonomics equipment.
- Responsible for performing annual preventative maintenance on all encoders and cash counters.
- Ensuring service is performed on shared bank vehicles (i.e., Hyundai Sonata and Ford Escape).
- Responsible for maintaining organization of the Bank’s warehouse and facilities van.
- Providing backup for the Facilities Director as needed.
What You Bring to the Team:
- You have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
- You have experience in facilities maintenance.
- You have experience with basic computer equipment such as PC’s, tablets, and smart phones as well as experience with Microsoft Office.
- You have the ability to work independently and are self-motivated.
- You work with minimal supervision and have excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service mentality.
- You are skilled at business communication, both verbal and written.
- You have a strong professional demeanor and high regard for confidentiality.
- You can travel to other Peoples Bank locations and off-site for meetings and/or training as required.
- You have the ability to model the Peoples Bank Mission, Vision, and Values.
