PRODUCER, ENTERTAINMENT

What you’ll do:

• Contribute to the overall vision for the show, working with the Senior Producer to craft an entertaining and compelling audio product

• Run the audio board in studio for live and taped broadcasts

• Pitch creative ideas daily, including show segment ideas, topics, audio production pieces, caller segments, and live events

• Work with Senior Producer to provide comprehensive research, questions, and full show prep packet for show’s host/s

• Work with Senior Producer to identify show moments and segments to highlight and edit together for Andy’s weekly podcast

• Assist with providing on-the-fly feedback and research as required during the live show

• Screen listener phone calls during the show

• Work closely with the Senior Producer, PR, and digital teams to identify compelling moments and clips to create audiograms and video clips

• Work with Senior Producer to post creative content on channel’s social media accounts to promote the show

• Work with Senior Producer on ideas for show production elements and promos for the audio production team to create

• Identify, edit, and load sounders and audio clips for use in-show

• Edit and load taped shows, best of shows and specials

• Perform post-production duties including audio editing, posting the show on the app, and other pertinent duties

• Under the guidance of the channel’s Program Director, work with the company’s support teams (sales, traffic, PR, marketing, talent, events, promotions, digital and others) as required

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in radio, podcast, or audio production

• Ability to work under pressure with high profile talent

• Must have a strong interest and knowledge of all things reality TV, pop culture and entertainment

• Audio editing experience (ex. Adobe Audition)

• Impeccable attention to detail in all areas of work

• Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment

• Be a great communicator

• Ability to run a live studio board

• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $55,000 to $72,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
