How you’ll make an impact:
As a Planning & Portfolio Support Analyst on the Planning and Portfolio Team, you'll play a central role in building long-term reporting and automation to fit the needs of the larger Technology organization. This particular role will work with technology and product teams to ensure high-level compliance for Portfolio and Time Tracking activities.
Additionally, the Planning and Portfolio team partners with technology and key business leaders to drive prioritization, road mapping and process execution across the organization. From evaluating new process opportunities to driving cross-functional initiatives, this team formulates strategic recommendations with actionable insights that help make teams at Pandora, SXM, and Stitcher more productive and successful.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and visualization, enterprise-level process governance, working in an entrepreneurial environment and has a proactive approach to creating impact in a fast-paced setting.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain Time Tracking reporting program focused on compliance and portfolio analysis to influence planning and portfolio decisions
- Anticipate and address potential issues, identify opportunities and make informed decisions to ensure Tempo Time Tracking program success
- Partner with Accounting and finance teams to help streamline processes
- Ensure that teams are complying with Time Tracking program requirements and reporting goals
- Execute and maintain communication plan for Engineering and Product Leadership for Time Tracking compliance
- Provide support for users within the Technology organization for Tempo, a Jira Add-on
- Create technical documentation when necessary for further support for users
- Apply tools and techniques for data analysis and data visualization
- Identify patterns and trends to make informed decisions for Portfolio Managers
What you’ll need:
- 3 - 5+ years in portfolio management, product operations, technical program/project management, corporate strategy, or other relevant experience
- Expert understanding of Tableau, Jira, Tempo, Confluence Google Sheets, Excel, MySQL, Postman, REST API, Outlook, MS Word, SendGrid, Slack or other similar products
- Candidate has experience working with product management, development & engineering teams and has the ability and confidence to facilitate strategic conversations
- Motivated to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to seek information, solve conceptual problems, corral resources and deliver results in challenging situations
- Experience managing multiple complex projects and programs while demonstrating exceptional business judgment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex thoughts and strategies into simple, actionable recommendations, with an ability to work and negotiate at all levels of the organization
- Show initiative while being decisive and assertive in addressing problems and issues
- Must be detail oriented, proactive, highly organized, and be able to prioritize and multi-task while working under shifting deadlines
