- Being able to operate a sand blaster, paint sprayers, compressors, vacuums, power tools, paint mixer and shaker and any other hand tools related to painting
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Must have a proven ability to interact effectively with many levels of personnel
- Drywall tape and texture experience
- Must be able to perform physical motions as related to the position; carry, lift, and use equipment/materials weighing up to 50# on a regular basis and up to 80# on an occasional basis
Physical Requirements

- Lifting: Ground to 36 inches, up to 60 pounds. Ground to overhead, up to 5 pounds, both hands.
- Carrying: One handed, carry up to 60 pounds for 50 feet, and up stairs.
- Carrying: Two handed, front carry, carry up to 60 pounds for 100 feet.
- Pushing and pulling forces required (when moving equipment and office furniture): 60 pounds sustained.
- Static trunk forward bending and twisting from a standing, crouching or kneeling position while painting, laying floor tile, and repairing walls and floor...
- Reaching with both arms in all directions, including overhead, frequently.
- Perform one handed overhead work, such as plastering, with 5 pounds tool.
- Balancing when climbing and working on a ladder or scaffold.
- Standing and walking on various distances throughout the day, on even and uneven surfaces.
- Manual steadiness, dexterity, speed, and coordination:
- Arm-Hand Steadiness — The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
- Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, and your hand together with your arm, to grasp and manipulate painting tools.
Physical Screen will be administered prior to a final offer of employment.
Minimum Required Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent education and five (5) years of experience as a journey-level Painter
- Possess a Current driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Articulating Boom lift.
- Knowledge of purchasing and inventory practices and procedures.
