How You’ll Help Us Win:
- Build and drive 3-year strategic growth plan; drive alignment, structure and processes to achieve goals
- Develop omni-channel sales strategies to fuel revenue and market share growth
- Understand the customer P&L and manage the business with a General Manager mindset. Obsess point-of-sale performance & track key retail metrics
- Develop influential relationships with key decision makers and executives at all levels at the Customers
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop effective go to market strategy. Partner with Retail Marketing to build out COOP, training, and promotional section of business plan
- Build revenue forecast and deliver to plan
- Drive effective account development and management process, including implementation of Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment (CPFR) process and providing significant input into Sales & Ops Planning
- Provide leadership on account service needs to ensure timely execution and follow-up of all activities
- Regularly assess performance and competitive landscape and build and prepare quarterly business review process for in-person meetings with senior leadership of retail partners
- Provide strategic thought leadership to the organization on product development, merchandising, pricing, promotion, and assortment optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with field sales team to develop and execute Joint Business Plans for key accounts and develop field sales strategy executed by field representatives
- Plan and execute key annual events – Tradeshows, Corporate HQ events, Product Line Reviews, Supplier Partnership Meetings
- Inspire team by being a high-quality, thoughtful leader with a focus on building culture
What You’ll Need To Succeed:
- BA/BS preferred
- 12+ years of national account sales management, or equivalent experience working directly with retailers
- Strong leadership experience managing both national teams
- Strong analytical, planning skills & negotiation skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Experience using Salesforce & ability to interpret data and take action
