What You'll Do:
Traeger is seeking a Senior Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining hardware designs for a variety of products from concept to commercialization. You will work on projects that require a deep understanding of hardware making a significant impact on the success of our products. This role requires a high level of organization, creativity, attention to detail, and engineering knowledge to successfully launch innovative features and products consistently. You will be involved in collaborative activities as well as effectively communicating project progress and information with the wider team.
How You Will Help Us Win:
- Help transfer market requirements into product requirements that may be decomposed accordingly to enable design
- Collaborate with cross disciplinary teams on the design and development of new products from concept to production
- Design and implement embedded system, RF, analog and digital circuit design, and systems debugging
- Perform trade studies when selecting new components
- Work closely with mechanical engineers to select appropriate tradeoffs for electromechanical products
- Work with all stakeholders and understand the needs of the whole product team
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar
- 5+ years of relevant experience in product design and development with proven success leading projects from concept thru mass-production.
- Must have proven experience developing and designing products, bringing them to market
- Ability to effectively create and communicate ideas using physical prototypes.
- Interaction with overseas resources and ability to travel overseas a must
