Job Description
The Senior HR Business Partner for the Restaurant Support Center (RSC) is a key thought partner role based in our Tampa corporate office. This individual will partner, counsel, and connect team members, managers & department leaders with Center of Excellence (COE) resources for all phases of the team member employment cycle. The support areas range from, but are not limited to, leadership development, talent management, compensation, employee relations, talent & recruiting strategies, and diversity/inclusion strategies. The Sr. HR Business Partner serves as a key contributor to preserving and enhancing the culture of BBI’s "great place to work" and ensures that employment practices and policies reflect the company's Principles & Beliefs. This role may allow for a hybrid work schedule after the onboarding / training process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
* Assists the RSC department leaders in developing, defining, and executing the talent strategy as part of the overall business plan.
* Leads a team of Corporate HR team members, providing guidance, training, development and performance evaluations.
* Assists in the design, planning and implementation of Human Resources programs and policies.
* Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the business and provides creative solutions to HR challenges to maximize the success of the business.
* Supports in the development and execution of retention strategies and initiatives to enhance culture, increase employee engagement, and reduce turnover.
* Provides guidance to leaders, partners with RSC employee relations team as needed and serves as a liaison to the Bloomin’ Brands Legal department.
* Provides RSC leaders with coaching on talent development, performance management, and compensation topics.
* Supports organizational design initiatives and participates in the execution of organizational workforce planning.
* Partners with stakeholders to develop, deliver, and execute performance management, leadership development and succession planning training.
* Supports overall organizational efforts to ensure all practices and policies meet legal and regulatory standards.
*Performs all other duties as needed or assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
* Bachelor’s degree, required
* HR Certification (such as SHRM-CP, or PHR, SPHR, etc.), strongly preferred.
Experience/Skills:
* 5+ years of progressively responsible HR experience is required.
* Strong experience in leadership development, performance management, talent management and leading teams required.
* Demonstrated operational HR experience in hospitality or retail environment, preferred.
