Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. What You’ll Do:
- Establish & maintain the IT Governance structure by implementing relevant policies and processes that address technology risks faced by business applications. Own creation of, and updates to IT documentation relevant to business applications and ensure periodic review by senior management
- Manage the IT SOX Program, perform management self-assessment and monitor established ITGCs, ITACs, key reports and SOC1 reports.
- Lead IT monitoring activities such as chairing the Change Advisory Board (CAB) for change control and reviewing batch job status for data operations control. Coordinate performance of access review controls, periodic SOD analysis and ensure timely control owner attestation. Perform exception analysis to confirm level of risk exposure in case of findings and communicate recommendation of remediation steps address the exceptions
- Play a key role in major projects that have an impact on regulatory compliance and communicating about specific compliance requirements and monitoring success.
- Perform pre-implementation and post-implementation project reviews. Perform data completeness and accuracy checks for projects with data conversion phase.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with IT teams to enhance operations
- Serve as IT’s point of contact for all phases of technology audits. Coordinate walkthroughs, evidence collection and ensure timely closure of audit requests. Assist IT management in addressing and ensuring timely closure of audit findings.
- Provide administrative support to control owners and auditors, as needed.
- Provide on-going education/training of IT controls and audit requirements to IT teams, as needed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
What You Need:
- BA/BS degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related discipline required
- 7+ years of experience managing an SOX program
- CISA, CIA or CISM certified candidates preferred
- Strong understanding of technology risks relevant to applications, interfaces, and data
- Fast learner with strong analytical, problem solving, and project management skills
- Strong knowledge of frameworks such as CoBIT and NIST
- Highly motivated and extremely organized individual with interpersonal skills

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between 163,200 - 204,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
