QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years previous experience working within financial services industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem-solving skills a must
- Ability to work independently, juggling multiple priorities
- Extensive experience supporting the following technologies:
- Market data applications including Bloomberg, Factset
- Order management systems
- Execution management systems
- Multi-monitor display setups
- PC and laptop maintenance
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory; account management, security group management
- Extensive experience supporting Windows 10 and Office 365
- Extensive experience supporting Office 365 applications
- Familiar with mobile device support, especially for iOS devices managed through Intune
- Remote systems support, including VPN software technology and VMWare Horizon
- Experienced with Software Deployment concepts and Packaging
- Knowledge of video conferencing and AV setups; must be able to provide support for both in-office and popular hosted video conferencing platforms (Zoom).
- Basic networking skills including troubleshooting of connectivity issues
- Knowledge of VoIP (Cisco) phones
- Familiarity with branch / satellite office support and challenges
- Comfortable supporting in-house security systems for access management requests and basic troubleshooting
- After-hours and weekend coverage is expected
- Bachelor's degree is required
- Knowledge of the financial industry is required

The base salary range for this position in New York City is $140,000 to $180,000. In addition to base salary, Viking employees may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, 100% coverage of medical and dental premiums, and paid lunches. Actual compensation for successful candidates will be individually determined based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, and other qualifications.
