ASSESSES AND REPORTS CONTRACTOR AND CIVIL SERVICE

Duties

• Assesses and reports contractor and civil service cost and work force performance through review of financial management documentation.
• Participates in technical, financial, procurement, and performance evaluation meetings by reviewing progress against cost, schedule, and technical performance plans; identifies and understands variances; and provides recommendation to management.
• Coordinates all phases of budget development and/or execution; the preparation of obligation and expenditure schedules, special studies, and reports.
• Analyzes interrelated issues of cost effectiveness and productivity of substantive projects and maintains current information on status of program funds.
• Identifies actual or potential problem areas, trends, deficiencies, areas of imbalance or similar factors that could impact the effective management control of funds.
• Plans and directs the analytical and evaluative work for critical agency functions related to the development and presentation of budget plans and programs.
