Duties

  • Oversee the execution of manufacturing and production of test requirements for vehicle flight systems, test articles, assemblies, and components.
  • Coordinate and schedule high-level meetings and briefings, maintain and, as necessary, develop selected reports to assist senior level staff with the management of tasks and projects.
  • Participate in basic concept and feasibility studies, and designs, develops and tests new or modified equipment prior to release for production to ensure reliability and safety of the equipment.
  • Perform advisory services in the specialty area to those who design, test, produce, supply, operate, repair, and dispose of test articles and equipment.
  • Determine or recommend the requirements for the appropriate (spare) parts, tools, and operating instructions to support equipment during fabrication or tests.
  • Advise in developing production procedures and techniques where intensive knowledge of the equipment is required.
