Intern Brand Management & Brand Performance EMEA - German Speaking (July 2024, 12 months)

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is now seeking an Intern Brand Management & Brand Performance EMEA to join our team in Berlin, Germany.
The Internship
In collaboration with the Director Brand Management & Brand Performance Support EMEA, the Intern Brand Management & Brand Performance EMEA will be responsible to further develop the Vienna House by Wyndham brand in the areas of Brand Standards, Compliance to Brand Standards, Product Development and Innovations.
They will support and deliver on key brand priorities and initiatives, while reporting directly to the Director Brand Management & Brand Performance Support EMEA. The aim of this role is to strengthen Brand Health and lead the competition in the brand category.
Responsibilities
1. Market analysis: analyse the competitive ecosystem (markets, cities and brands); understand market demand, guest needs, industry trends and/ or performance patterns.
2. Work with the Franchise Partner to develop and audit Brand Standards compliance.
3. Creation of visual, on brand hotel facing documentation to support brand projects and Brand Standards.
4. Project Management: run projects semi-independently ensuring deliverables are planned and achieved via collaboration with other functions within and outside of Brand Management as well as Franchisees.
5. Support the implementation and follow-up on brand strategies, programmes, and projects to drive overall growth and guest experience.
6. Internship Group Project: all Interns will be involved in a business-critical project during their internship.
7. Support the employee engagement committee in organising activities/ initiatives under 3 pillars: People, Community and Sustainability.

Experience/ Education/ Certificates
• Studying towards a Bachelor’s degree or above in Business or Hospitality Management.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
• The ideal candidate should have already experience in product management or have completed a work experience in a hotel or office environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken German and English is essential. Other language skills are an advantage.
• Project management and organisational skills are important.
Compensation/ Benefits
• €26,900 gross per annum, prorated for the duration of the internship
• 30 days of holidays per annum (accrued basis)
