• Location: Frimley , Surrey
• Function: Accounts Receivable - Shared Service Centre
This role is to work within the Customer Financial Services department and improve SCJ financial performance by reducing open deductions, speeding up validation of claims and ensuring accurate allocation of customers’ invoices to the correct accrual; All in line with departmental KPIs targets.
This role for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure timely approval and processing of claims, Invoices and deductions by customer.
- Conduct thorough investigation of price claims
- Drive process changes as well as Efficiency & Effectiveness improvements
- Ensure customers account reconciliation are completed and accurate
- Manage incoming documentation
- Develop, maintain and improve relationships with internal and external customers
- Analysis, decisions and recommendations of customer’s credit related matters
- Timely escalation and resolution of disputes
- Follow established Delegation of Authority (DoA) matrix and guidelines
- Comply with Sarbanes & Oxley (SOX) requirements for Accounts Receivable processes
- Take active part in process improvements through Lean methodology approach and cross-functional problem-solving matters
- Perform Ad Hoc Accounts Receivable activities
- Cover/backup for other CFS functions
- Reporting
Experience you'll bring
- Must be fluent in spoken & written English and another language
- Good attention to details (SHL tests)
- Process improvement orientated
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel (excel test)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Proactivity and Personal Ownership
- Demonstrate adaptability & flexibility in fast paced changing environment
