Position Summary
Administers, proctors and scores paper and computer based exams and records. Schedules, monitors and prepares testing computer lab; schedules test sessions; and distributes and retrieves test materials.Duties & Responsibilities
- Registers student for the tests, verifies identification and maintains testing security.
- Ensures compliance with rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Conducts testing sessions in accordance with departmental procedures, including: preparing materials and ensuring an environment conducive to successful testing and survey conditions; completing and verifying accuracy of all necessary test records and supporting documentation
- Assists students at the computer, troubleshoots and resolves routine computer problems.
- Scores tests electronically and manually, enters scores into the database and resolves or assists in resolution of individual testing issue
- Verifies and maintains accuracy of detailed data and information, detect data errors
- Collects, compare, organize, and interpret large volumes of detailed data and information from a variety of sources for accuracy and completeness and prepare accurate records and reports
- Meets schedules and deadlines of the work unit
- Maintains offsite database and other tracking records for analysis; retrieves test results; produces detailed statistical reports; performs data entry; and retrieves student score reports on the Banner Student System.
- Performs security, daily back up and restoration checks of information; helps establish and maintain record keeping system, creates templates, spreadsheets and other documents in support of efficiency and accuracy for the department
- Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of work experience teaching, testing or related experience.
- Bilingual preference (Spanish/English)
- This is a part-time position. Evening hours and Saturday work schedule
