Who we’re looking for;
Graylog is currently recruiting for a Solutions Consultant to join our customer success organisation during an exciting period of growth.
The Solutions Consultant will serve as the linchpin between our innovative technology and our valued customers.
Our Solution Consultants are deeply integrated into both the technical and customer-facing aspects of Graylog which requires a blend of technical expertise, customer empathy, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
As our next Solutions Consultant you will be pivotal in enhancing customer experiences, driving product improvements, and fostering long-term customer success across our platform.
We empower our Solution Engineers to effectively operate with the understanding and appreciation that they will not know the answer to everything and that’s ok. As such it is vital Solution Engineers can use their customer-first mindset and effectively follow through to get our customers what they need.

This position can be based anywhere in the UK, Germany, Canada, US and will report to the Manager, of Solution Engineering who is based in the US.
Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

- Act as the primary technical contact for key strategic clients, providing guidance and support throughout their Graylog journey.
- Collaborate closely with clients to implement and optimize Graylog within their unique environments, ensuring seamless integration and maximum value.
- Craft engaging presentations, webinars, and demos to showcase the power and versatility of Graylog leaving a lasting impression on our customers.
- Foster deep, trust-based relationships with clients, embodying the essence of our commitment to customer success.
- Interview customers and use your curiosity and empathy with other people to help our customers become the stars of their Graylog experience.
- Channel customer feedback and insights to internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Organize and deliver training sessions to empower customers to leverage Graylog effectively.
Key Deliverables;

- Within the first 6 months, develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for investigating and optimizing the customer journey lifecycle. This includes identifying key touchpoints, enhancing data tracking and management, and delivering an improvement in customer engagement metrics.
- Focus on identifying customer journey touchpoints, improving data management, and enhancing customer engagement.
- Create and launch at least three high-impact educational artefacts (such as webinars, tutorial videos, or interactive guides) focused on key Graylog features and best practices by the end of the first year. These resources should aim to increase customer understanding and product utilization by a measurable amount.
- Develop educational programs covering Graylog features and best practices.
Little bit about you;

- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role within the technology industry.
- Thorough understanding of log management platforms, cybersecurity concepts, Linux systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Ability to distil complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience in sales engineering, technical account management, or similar roles is advantageous.
- Bonus points for hands-on experience with log management or cyber security platforms as an analyst level or higher.
Technical skills;

- Proficiency in log management platforms (e.g., Graylog, Splunk, ELK Stack).
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line interfaces.
- Knowledge of networking components and architecture.
