Position: Operations Manager

As the Operations Manager at Coronado Paint & Decorating, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business. From overseeing inventory management to optimizing processes, your leadership will contribute to the continued success of our employee-owned company.

 

·      Provide strategic leadership to ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of daily operations.

·      Collaborate with department heads to align operational processes with company objectives.

·      Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

·      Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing discrepancies.

·      Implement best practices for inventory organization, storage, and tracking.

·      Work closely with suppliers to optimize product availability and manage stock replenishment.

 

·      Evaluate current operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

·      Implement streamlined procedures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.

·      Foster a culture of operational excellence and innovation within the team.

 

·      Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.

·      Provide guidance and support to team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

·      Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement training programs as needed.

 

·      Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

·      Implement and oversee safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.

·      Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address and rectify any compliance issues.

       

·      Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

·      Negotiate favorable terms, prices, and contracts to optimize procurement processes.

·      Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements.

 

·      Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

·      Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a retail or operations environment.

·      Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.

·      Experience in inventory management, process optimization, and team development.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·      Demonstrated ability to drive operational improvements and implement best practices.

·      Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

·      Familiarity with the retail and construction materials industry is a plus.
