Work You’ll Do
As a Senior Workday Technical Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development and maintenance of custom programs and applications within the Workday environment.
- Ensure seamless integration between Workday modules (e.g., Financial Accounting, Expenses) for accurate and timely data flow.
- Oversee the implementation and design of integrated financial accounting solutions within Workday.
- Write and review detailed technical specifications for Workday solutions development and implementation.
- Lead the development of programs and integrations, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Provide advanced support during testing phases troubleshooting issues for successful deployment.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for integrations and technical project aspects.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing leadership and skill and knowledge growth support.
- Implement technology-enabled business solutions as part of a high-talent team.
- Apply financial principles with experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
- Analyze complex data sets to generate actionable insights.
- Utilize Workday reporting and data analytics tools proficiently.
- Manage projects related to system implementation, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.

Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.
The Emerging ERP Solutions practice helps implement cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as Workday Financials and Infor. Teams support finance and supply-chain transformations where the software is a true enabler of process change and cost reduction.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline.
- 5+ years of experience with Workday development.
- Experience with Workday ERP Financial implementations.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must live within a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA, with the ability to commute to the assigned location for the day without the need for overnight accommodations.
- Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Certification is strongly preferred but not required.
- Consulting experience, preferably with a large consulting firm.
- Experience with Workday integrations and data conversions.
