SERVES AS LEAD CONTRACT SPECIALIST RESPONSIBLE FOR

Duties

• Serves as Lead Contract Specialist responsible for a variety of contracts, including complex major systems program procurement.
• Provides expert guidance, oversight and leadership to Contract Specialists, Contract Price/Cost Analysts, and procurement internal and external customers at all levels of leadership within industry, NASA, and other government agencies.
• Leads the team in identifying distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work-flow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
• Makes adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks.
• Ensures that each employee has an integral role in developing the final team product.
• Assists the Manager in the overall planning and management of the acquisition process.
• Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships across acquisition stakeholders.
• Provides expert procurement consultation to requirement/technical customers on solution-based alternatives to achieving their procurement objectives.
