Duties

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert in electronics or satellite technology, providing leadership and technical direction in architecting, designing, developing, and testing of electronics or satellite systems in aerospace applications.
• Provide expert knowledge to evaluate and assess satellite or electronics engineering systems, identify novel technologies, maintain a technical database, and collaborate with organizations both in and out of NASA.
• Implement and enhance Electronics System Branch (ESB) engineering processes, procedures, and best practices in the areas of satellite or electronics systems to support aerospace projects.
• Design, develop, and deliver state-of-the-art electronics or satellite systems that have a wide and far-reaching impact for aerospace engineering applications.
• Lead hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of satellite or electronics system and perform data recovery and analysis.
• Mentor other electrical engineers in electronics or satellite technology.
