Duties

  • Lead the coordination of a regular Human Research Program / Space Biology working group (with other ad hoc members), as recommended by Biological and Physical Sciences decadal survey.
  • Develop integration of strategy, plans, roadmaps, and objectives for cross-agency integration between Space Biology, Human Research Program, and Mars Campaign Office.
  • Represent the collective interests of Space Biology, Human Research Program, and Mars Campaign Office during program meetings to help integrate across programs.
  • Provide input to Human Research Program and Space Biology solicitations to help connect dots and enhance collaborations.
  • Participate on American Society of Gravitational Space Research, Human Research Program Investigators’ Workshop, and other relevant planning committees.
  • Lead coordination on translational activities between Human Research Program / Space Biology and International Space Station National Lab.
  • Foster a culture of engagement, diversity, inclusiveness, excellence and innovation. Champion NASA's commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility to create an environment that promotes a commitment to safety, integrity, and teamwork.
