LEAD A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAM TO PROVIDE COMPREHE

Duties

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive oversight of the design, development, testing, certification, and delivery of the Gateway HALO ECLSS and Thermal Systems, collaborating closely with the prime contractor and suppliers.
• Lead technical integration, issue resolution, and systems engineering efforts, including establishing and executing verification and validation processes and evaluating evidence to support the Certification of Flight Readiness requirements.
• Coordinate with Gateway Program and Project Offices, various Directorates, and other stakeholder organizations in planning HALO ECLSS and Thermal Systems activities leading to flight readiness.
• Actively identify, manage, and mitigate cost, schedule, and technical risks associated with the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the HALO ECLSS and Thermal Systems.
• Lead the coordination and integration of government-furnished equipment and international partner components into the HALO ECLSS and Thermal Systems, overseeing interface definition, integrated testing, and verification activities.
• Lead and support the programmatic management of contracts, resources, and oversight teams essential for the design, development, testing, and certification of the HALO ECLSS and Thermal Systems.
• Develop and direct innovative concepts, processes, and techniques for the design, development, and testing of the HALO and other complex components. Challenge the status quo and gain necessary approvals for tailored approaches.
• Represent the HALO Project Office and serve as a team representative at various boards and meetings in support of the HALO ECLSS and Thermal Systems.
