A bit about this role:
We are looking for a people leader who fosters the environment of doing the right thing for clients….every time. This leader will inspire the client service team to continually try new approaches and will leverage learnings to shape the future. This leader cares deeply about the development of team members and can help individuals reach their full potential. This role is for someone who is drawn to listening and providing coaching solutions that deliver great outcomes for clients and colleagues. This role will be 70% coaching and 30% process improvement.
The meaningful work you will tackle:
- This role will support our Financial Assistants from 10 - 6:30pm PST
- You will lead a team of 7-10 Financial Assistants; working towards the common goal of delivering exceptional outcomes for the families we serve
- Provide leadership, development, and coaching of client service individuals to ensure a meaningful experience
- Manage productivity, quality, attendance, and timeliness of work to reach team and company goals
- Demonstrate test and learn through others' actions while maintaining proper levels of service
- Support and lead the learning and application of proprietary coaching and service models through hands-on dialogue with tea
- Mentor, develop, and coach your team members to meet and exceed performance objectives and accomplish career objectives
- Continuously understand and circle work back to business objectives and desired outcomes
- Handle and resolve escalated customer service concerns
- Master key elements of the Financial Assistant's role (product knowledge, CRM Navigation, proprietary model) so you are able to coach with full understanding/hands-on knowledge
What we’re looking for in your background & what makes you a success:
- 5+ years of demonstrated hands-on leadership in a service environment
- You have led teams of 7+ members who work directly with clients
- Experience with financial topics preferred
- Ability to provide continual feedback that drives improvement to people and processes that are continually under development
- Excellent organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills

- You're flexible: You prefer a fast-paced and dynamic environment and are comfortable enough to keep up as plans change and evolve
