Description
The Operations Analyst-Aftermarket parts serves as a key liaison between our internal teams and external partners. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive parts support to Proterra operations both internally and externally. This role aligns closely with our aftermarket parts objectives and goals while ensuring exceptional service. This position will be responsible for providing optimized inventory proposals for our OEM partners and customers through all phases of their programs. This employee will be responsible for ensuring day-to-day compliance with aftermarket parts contracts and KPI’s based on contractual obligations.
This hybrid-role involves various administrative and operational tasks aimed at supporting the Proterra organization. Responsibilities include managing asset and warranty entries in ServiceMax, generating work orders for the service team, performing general data entry tasks in both ServiceMax and Oracle, providing back-office support to field staff, and assisting in OEM tooling inquiries and sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Parts Support: Serve as the main point of contact for all aftermarket parts support for Proterra Powered operations, both internally and externally.
- Operational Standards: Execute all tasks in line with established aftermarket parts practices and procedures. Customize processes for external partners as needed.
- Representation: Act as the working-level representative for aftermarket parts in discussions related to Proterra Powered, both internally and externally.
- Meetings: Attend pertinent aftermarket parts department meetings to stay updated on process and procedure changes.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure alignment with the overall objectives and goals of the aftermarket parts department as applicable to the Powered organization.
- Inventory Management: Identify recommended stocking levels for Proterra Powered OEM partners.
- Customer Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for Powered customers receiving “hypercare,” facilitating best inventory management practices.
- Data and Reporting: Generate aftermarket parts sales data and reports that are specific to Proterra Powered.
Secondary Support Objectives:
- Asset and Warranty Management: Responsible for the entry of Powered assets and warranties into ServiceMax.
- Work Orders: Generate work orders for the Powered service team as required.
- Data Entry: Undertake general data entry tasks for the Powered organization, specifically in regards to ServiceMax and Oracle data.
- Field Staff Support: Provide back office support for field staff.
- Tooling Inquiries and Sales: Assist in responding to OEM tooling inquiries and facilitate tooling sales as needed.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete other administrative duties as assigned.
Your Experience Includes:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience Parts Analyst or similar role.
- Operational experience in aftermarket parts at the Dealer or OEM level
- Experience at a practical level with ServiceMax software
- Experience at a practical level with Oracle
- Demonstrated success in operating an aftermarket parts department
