Job Description:
Title: Inventory Controller
Reports to: Inventory and Quality Team Lead
Location: Dungannon Business Park
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 40hrs per week
We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our teams in Dungannon Business Park. We currently have opportunities for an Inventory Controller.
Position Details
Reporting to the Inventory and Quality Team Lead, the Inventory Controller will form part of the inventory control team, responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy within the parts department, with a particular focus on shop floor based practices and disciplines, including stock counting and reconciliation, ensuring that all transactions are completed in accordance with company policies, procedures and systems to achieve accurate inventory information in line with analysis to identify problems, recommend solutions and drive implementation of improved practices.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintaining, monitoring and auditing the inventory control for the department
• Monitoring inventory accuracy and investigate root cause of discrepancies
• Stock counting and location management on the warehouse floor
• Liaising with other internal departments to maintain inventory accuracy, standard procedures, controls, practices and systems
• Helping to develop and maintain cycle count activity including variance reporting and reconciliation of cycle counts
• Recommending and developing strategies related to inventory management with constant focus of continuous improvement
• Liaising with and providing support for the Inventory Team and assisting with all relevant queries

About you
Experience Level & Required Qualifications:
• Should ideally have a third level education
• A minimum of 1 years experience in a stores or data input role
• Must have proven relevant experience in understanding data analysis and research functions
• Must have proven experience of working in a fast moving environment where ability to deliver is paramount
• Must have excellent IT skills in Microsoft packages
• Experience of working with ERP systems would be beneficial
• Relevant experience in an inventory control position would be desirable though not essential
