About the Position:
Title: Pricing Analyst
Reports to: Director, Global Parts Strategic Pricing
Location: Dungannon, Northern Ireland
Position Overview:
In this position you will be responsible for the support and relief of the Director, Global Parts Strategic Pricing. In addition, you will participate in challenging real-world projects which directly help drive business results at our global organization. Your key responsibilities:
- Set-up and update pricing for spare parts to achieve fair and realistic prices from day 1 to the end of machine life to drive a good customer experience.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the new pricing tool Syncron as well as the creation of the new pricing logic and new set up in Syncron. Help to analyze and configure next phase project requirements from business view and work closely with IT team and the Syncron team to ensure the new system meets business requirements.
- Assess competitor price positions and price strategy, draw similarities and differences with company strategy and makes recommendations as needed.
- Assist in developing executive level presentations related to overall pricing strategy, execution of pricing optimization project, and pricing program effectiveness.
- Closely collaborate with Sales, Finance and the Commercial team as needed in designing and implementing customer pricing models to maximize revenue effectiveness.
- Work with cross functional teams to support the implementation and execution of proposed processes. This will include creating appropriate training and support materials for end users, developing business rules & monitoring their effectiveness as well as maintenance of the solution tools.
- Research current best practices in parts pricing structures and analyze historical pricing data to suggest future pricing.
Your key skills:
- 2-3 years of experience as Pricing Analyst, Customer Service / Sales Representative, Technical, Product Manager, or similar roles.
- Advanced level in MS Excel.
- Demonstrate ability to build relationships with the internal customers (Operations, Sales, Finance, etc.), including remote teams.
- Self-starter with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to work independently as well as in fast-paced, cross-functional teams. Must have good time and project management skills and attention to detail.
- Attention to detail and accuracy and strong documentation skills.
- Keen in working with numbers and data.
- Learns quickly when facing new problems, open to change, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
- Needs to be able to demonstrate significant experience and aptitude in business data capture, analysis and planning.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Multi-National Aftermarkets Pricing, Sales or CSR environment would be a significant advantage.
- Ability to effectively gather and present information at status meetings.
- MBA or other advanced degree would be an advantage.
- Experience making formal and informal presentations to cross-functional teams.
