Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years of credit experience working for fintech or bank, in personal loans, credit cards or related lending products
- Master’s degree in business, statistics, STEM, economics, or a related field
- Strong expertise in credit strategy for credit approvals, credit amount assignment and pricing in one or more consumer credit portfolios
- Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, or Python for data extraction, manipulation, analysis and modeling
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data, draw actionable insights and recommend risk mitigation strategies
- Proven track record in developing and implementing credit risk strategies to optimize portfolio performance
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing credit risk across multiple product lines and customer segments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Job Summary
As a Senior Credit Strategy Manager, you'll support the Credit and Fraud Prevention team by implementing credit and fraud strategies, monitoring portfolio performance and building dashboards. Leveraging expertise in credit risk management and analytics, you'll focus on portfolio growth while driving initiatives to optimize credit performance.
Responsibilities
- Utilize expertise in credit risk strategy to analyze and optimize portfolio performance across various lending products
- Develop and implement credit and fraud risk assessment methodologies and tools, leveraging strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance in the credit industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex financial data, make informed credit decisions, build proposals and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies
- Utilize programing programs, such as SQL and Python, to extract and manipulate data, conduct data analysis and build credit and fraud risk strategies
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in credit risk management and incorporate them into the development of credit strategies
- Build compelling data visualizations and distilling key informative messages clearly from large amounts of data
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-making processes

Colorado, New York City, Jersey City, California, D.C and Washington Candidates Only. The salary range for this position is eighty-four thousand dollars to one hundred seventy-seven thousand dollars.
